Printed IDP

This IDP Booklet consists of your driver’s license information that you provide during the online application process.

Total 16 pages including:

• Validity period
• List of countries where 1949 IDP was traditionally accepted (1949 IDP is since accepted in more countries not listed in the list)
• Vehicles you can drive with IDP (in 12 languages)
• Your picture
• Your signature
• Your First Name and Surname
• Your country of birth
• Your date of birth

We provide a validation period of up to 3 years, which is the longest period available. 

By scanning the QR code, you can easily access your self portal where you can verify the validity and details of your order.

Your printed IDP will be delivered directly to your doorstep, with the estimated delivery date varying based on your chosen delivery method (2-30 working days).

Digital IDP

The Digital IDP Booklet serves as a convenient and readily accessible PDF version of your 1949 IDP Booklet. 

Upon approval of your application, you can easily save it to your phone, laptop or tablet and receive it via email or download it from your self portal. However, it is important to note that certain countries, notably United Arab Emirates, Spain, Japan, South Korea and Thailand, do not accept the Digital IDP Booklet. We recommend verifying with your destination country if they accept a digital version before placing your order. 

It is always best to carry your original Printed IDP Booklet along with your driver's license for added assurance.

Complementary ID Card

This ID card must accompany your International Driving Permit. It summarizes most of the information on your valid driver’s license, such as your Name, Address, Sex, Date of Birth, Height, and Eye Color.

This complementary ID card is not your IDP and cannot be used independently. Always use the IDP Booklet and present this with your valid driver’s license.
